ACE2 gene's research paper
Abstract of ACE2 gene's research paper
Angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) catalyses the formation
of angiotensin II (Ang II) and thereby plays a key role in cardiorenal regulation and blood pressure control. Overactivity of the renin-angiotensin system contributes
to the pathophysiology of hypertension and heart failure,
which is reflected in the use of ACE inhibitors in the treatment of these conditions.
